June PIONEER PICNIC
Brownsville
The Pioneer Picnic is the state's oldest continuing community
festival, and has been held in June every year since 1887.

HISTORIC INTERIOR HOMES TOUR
Last weekend in July, 11am-5pm
Several families will open their homes to the public for tours.
Each home has been lovingly restored, and reflects the best of
both historic architecture and modern function. Ticket price
includes refreshments, live entertainment and trolley & horse-drawn
wagon rides. cost: $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors, groups
of 10 or more and children 12 and under. Tickets will be available
the week before the tour and starting at 10am on tour day at

Hear the words of Abigail Scott Duniway, an Oregon suffragette,
Dr. John McLoughlin, the Father of Oregon, or a pioneer women
come to life in one of the living history dramas put on by Flinn's
Tours. There are also murder mysteries, one involving Albany's
founding family, the Monteiths. These and other dramas can be
