I just want to let you know how I feel about our community and the way it is run. I feel Sandy and Patte (Community Managers) do a great job. They help out when they can, and when they cannot they give you names of people that can for less money and I know they have helped me save a lot of money. I am really proud of my home, my space, and the community and I feel it is a real privileged to live here.

When I made a move from the coast to Albany, I looked for a place in a mobile home park. I was attracted to Columbus Greens primarily when I saw all the trees, beautiful old growth trees. Then I noticed the homes were situated in cul-de-sacs and on the main streets in such a way to give you a sense of Privacy (Not having to look into your neighbors windows from yours). It is a friendly and well kept park and I enjoy the idea that I can walk my dog though the park safely.

In September of 1989 I bought and had my house set up in Columbus Greens. I had looked at other parks and decided on this one. It has grown a lot since then, but the "Homey and Safe" feelings are still here.

Living in Columbus Greens was a great experience.  It is a quiet, clean neighborhood and our neighbors have become our friends.  Also, we were able to save $21,000 in 7 years by buying a home instead of renting a house. In Albany, an average (1,100 square foot home, ranch) rents for around $800/mo.  Our home payment and space rent came out to under $545/mo (for a 1,440 square foot home).  Our credit report listed us as buying also, which gives us a higher rating.
